New Surfboard

I finally bought a new (used) surfboard! After weeks of monitoring Craigslist, I finally found a good deal on a longboard. It’s 10′0 and designed by Paul Carter in San Clemente. Seems to be just a few years old, and in pretty good shape.
Check out the photos the seller provided:

It’s got an extra layer of glass around the rails and 3 stringers — should last me a long time. It also has a single glassed-in fin. Can’t wait to get it in the water!

  1. What’s up w/ your old longboard?

  2. It’s really F’d up.. I fell on the fin and it ripped out of the fin box, and in the process totally smashed the fin box. There are also a lot of cracks across the board right at the fin from pressure on the fin. Even if I’m able to put a new fin box on it, I’m not sure how long it’ll hold up.. so I figured now’s a good time to get a new board.

  3. when’s the first mid-week San O trip?

  4. Tomorrow? How about San O Saturday? I’m probably going to head down to Old Man’s pretty early, heading back around 11.
